Hi, I'm Kaitlyn.

I'm a public relations major at Kent State University with a minor in photojournalism. I like the practical side of PR: figuring out what an organization needs to say, who needs to hear it, and the clearest way to get it there, whether that's a press release, a social calendar, or a photo.

Photojournalism is the other half. I shoot sports, portraits, and community events, and I think visually about communications work: what an image needs to say, how to get it on deadline, and how words and pictures work together.

For coursework at Kent State I've written reported pieces and produced a short video report. You'll find them under Work, alongside the photography.
